Thisresearch program studies the circadian gene regulation in heartfailure. The scope includes transcriptional regulation through coreclock factors as well as post-transcriptional regulation such asalternative splicing. We use diverse experimental approachesincluding genomics/epigenomics, molecular biology, cell biology andmouse models.Job DutiesCarry out independent research project, including planning theexperiment, performing the experiment, collecting and analyzing theresults.Communicate research professionally, including presenting anddiscussing research both verbally and in writing.Collaborate with other lab members.Manage mouse colonies.Collect samples from mice.Cell culture, including cell lines and primary cells.Perform qPCR, immunofluorescence, in situ, microscopy, ChIP,co-IP, cloning, etc. Minimum QualificationsMD or PhD in Basic Science, Health Science, or a relatedfield.No experience required.
